BALANCE
Remember that what foods you put in the tank will make the body run efficient or not. Therefore, eat food which make you feel your best, avoid substances and other intake that is in opposition to your own well-being. (When unsure ask yourself how food makes you feel.)
Clear your inner “screen” by being grateful for what you have in your life. Ask yourself what in my life is working, and then express gratitude for those blessings.
Find a new challenge each day by exploring something new, or something you may not have done in a while. Read, write, and learn something each day.
Exercise is necessary for your body each and every day. (A brisk walk for 20-30 minutes is all that is required.)
Show someone in your community or family circle appreciation. Assisting others strengthens your own ability to move forward.
Rest with a smile – retire to bed with positive thought, read something inspiring, prayer, or wish.
SPIRITUALITY
Spirituality for men is about creating the balance of energies the Yin/Yang both the “creative doing,” and receiving or “non-doing.” Both are actually doing but require a reference point to create a contrasting description. Doing requires active male energy whereas learning, communicating, listening, is in the Yin or referred to as non-doing.
Both forms of energy involve doing; the Yang is expressed outwardly, and Yin is more internal. Both energies are important for a balanced and happy individual.
Men and woman have Yin/Yang and thusly express both energies. Taking action, affecting outcomes, building, photographing, playing sports, express yang energy and yet the Yin remains within the Yang in each. The energy cycles is perpetual motion forward. Yin expresses sharing ideas, nurturing, reflecting, listening, inspiring, support of others with creativity, and presence. Within the Yin is Yang.
Our goal is to create balanced lives in which we are able to both create and appreciate.
To give and receive in equal measure. Achieve and reflect, making space for creativity, and taking action steps to manifest these desires. It sounds so simple but does require discipline and a spiritual practice.
Within many Men and some Women there is a tendency to bring forth Yang. Therefore these Men and Women should pay particular attention to the Yin, holding a space to allow the more subtle energies to manifest. This is a rather difficult challenge for many individuals.
This work is needed for optimum growth.
No Yang means nothing gets accomplished, too much Yang, and the individual are shallow, not interesting, and unable to listen effectively, and in general a bore. Both energies are required in near equal measure in order for individuals to be happy and fulfilled.
